Pelvic floor physiotherapy......isn't that just doing a bunch of kegels?

Unfortunately, Kegels are what many people think of when they hear the words "pelvic floor". But its so much more than that, and in some cases it would be harmful to perform kegels. Pelvic floor physiotherapy involves other skilled interventions, including training the entire core (the pelvic floor is just one part of it), and integrating the proper functioning of these muscles into your daily life activities. The pelvic floor muscles need to be assessed by a physiotherapist to determine the status, and what type of treatment will be suitable to address your incontinence, pelvic pain, or other symptoms. Your harmony Physiotherapist will carefully listen, asses, evaluate, and than together with you attain your goals.

Why do I need to work with Mommy FitScan?

Preventing pelvic dysfunction is much easier when you know what to do and how to do it, and simply getting checked can help you stay proactive in your postpartum recovery, and address any issues in the early stages.
